Safeguarding Policy


I am committed to creating a safe and respectful coaching environment for all adults (18+). Safeguarding involves ensuring clients’ well-being and safety are protected at all times, especially where vulnerability or risk may arise.

Information shared in sessions is treated as confidential. If I have reason to believe that you or someone else may be at risk of harm, I have a responsibility to take appropriate action, which may include contacting relevant professionals or authorities. I will always aim to do this with openness and care.

​

My practice is guided by professional coaching ethics and safeguarding principles that prioritise respect, dignity, and integrity.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

​

1. The 72-Hour Rule

​

I value our time together and dedicate specific hours to your support. Because it is difficult to fill a reserved slot on short notice, I require a minimum of 72 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Notice of 72+ hours: Your payment is fully refundable (less any Wix processing fees) or can be applied as a credit to a future session.

  • Notice of less than 72 hours: The session fee is non-refundable and will be retained to cover the reserved time.

2. Weekend & Monday Appointments

​

To ensure I have adequate time to manage my schedule during business hours, Monday appointments must be cancelled by the same time on the preceding Friday.

​

3. The Emergency "Grace" Waiver

​

I understand that true crises—such as sudden illness, accidents, or family emergencies—can happen. To support you during these times:

​

  • I offer one "grace" waiver per calendar year, allowing you to cancel within the 72-hour window without penalty.

  • Once this waiver has been used, the 72-hour policy applies strictly to all subsequent sessions, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

4. How to Cancel

​

Please manage your bookings through your Wix Member Profile or by emailing me directly at info@maria-liviero.com. Your refund (if applicable) will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
