A Stronger Self-Worth; manifestation, value, God & acceptance

Updated: Sep 1, 2023

This blog post will delve into self-worth's significant role as a protective shield from toxic relationships.

According to the dictionary, self-worth is

"The perception of one's own value or merit

as a person; self-respect; self-esteem."[1]

Self-worth is the cornerstone of our true selves and is crucial for manifesting our deepest desires. Improving your self-worth and self-esteem is crucial for building a strong sense of self. I believe self-worth is an inherent quality that necessitates cultivation. As children, we need to be shown how to value ourselves. As we mature, it becomes our responsibility to uphold this trait. In the event that we lose it, we must find our way back to this foundation. Fostering a robust sense of self-worth empowers us to cultivate stronger connections and discern the truth of situations. This can also protect us from rationalising or justifying the actions of others who fail to meet our emotional needs.[2]:

· Affection

· Acceptance

· Validation

· Autonomy

· Security

· Trust

· Empathy

· Prioritisation

· Connection and

· Space

When you connect with your self-worth, you gain the power of self-awareness and the ability to reject negative opinions from others. You become more attuned to your true self and how you deserve to be treated with value, respect, and consideration.

By valuing yourself and limiting external dependencies, again, you can develop a strong sense of self. This enables you to confidently express yourself, resolve disagreements, and attract positive individuals.

Self-confidence is an essential factor in personal growth, even with our imperfections. Embracing one's flaws is crucial to unlocking creativity and discovering hidden strengths. I used to believe that I disliked blogging and social media posting, but overcoming my apprehensions revealed I actually enjoy the creative process.

Stepping out of my comfort zone has taught me that tension is necessary for growth. Confronting my fears has transformed them into confidence. Once a level of self-worth that includes positive self-belief and thoughts has been integrated provides you with tools to manifest your deepest desires. Numerous YouTube videos, such as Dr. Joe Dispenza, showcase effective manifestation techniques, all emphasising the importance of embracing the emotions associated with your desired outcome in the present moment. By doing so, you can manifest your goals and make them a reality. This shows that self-worth is fundamental and crucial to the manifestation process that enhances self-worth/esteem.

Several effective methods exist to incorporate self-worth into our lives, including therapy, self-development courses, literature, or practical application. Therapy is an excellent starting point for delving into the unconscious mind, but it depends on your personality and past experiences. Once we learn to value ourselves, our subconscious no longer reinforces negative beliefs, facilitating faster problem-solving and greater emotional stability.

Here are some questions you may ask yourself:

How does self-worth help individuals engage in healthy relationships and avoid emotional unavailability? How does integrating self-worth into our daily lives help us avoid causing harm to ourselves? Informing about self-worth is essential to encourage self-worth and self-improvement.

There are various practical ways to enhance one's self-worth. It's worth noting that the answer to this question may vary depending on one's past experiences and the relationships you have had. However, for some, it could be as simple as grasping the concept of self-worth and learning to appreciate yourself.

How can someone integrate self-worth into their core self?

You could also start by identifying a core belief that shapes your perception of yourself, such as the question, "Am I not good enough?" However, setting unrealistic expectations can lead to feelings of failure that can trigger a downward spiral of negative thinking and rumination of the past rather than finding solutions that can help enhance self-worth/esteem. It's important to accept one's imperfections to avoid conflicts with oneself and others. Each individual possesses unique talents that can be utilised for the greater good. Comparing oneself to others only brings negativity into your mind, so it's best to focus on your strengths and abilities. Once you begin or practice to focus your attention on your strengths, your thoughts will alter but require your full attention, not half-heartedly; otherwise, it will weaken your process - repetition is key.

"By simply contemplating the idea of self-worth, you are initiating the process

of recognising your value."

Maria Liviero

Achieving personal growth and overcoming negative thoughts requires unwavering commitment and a willingness to challenge those thoughts head-on. You can effectively rewire your brain and transform your thinking by intentionally doing the opposite of what your thoughts tell you. However, this transformation requires consistent and persistent practice. Connecting with a higher power, be it your higher self or consciousness, is crucial to tapping into your self-worth and unlocking your full potential. This powerful connection can solidify the connection with your self-worth and bring a tremendous gift of wholeness.

Incorporate self-value into decision-making by aligning with personal beliefs. Individuals with low self-worth may tend to make decisions influenced by negative perceptions, leading to feelings of remorse or humiliation. I suggest reflecting on the outcome and reassessing by altering the thought process. "Act as if you are confident, and eventually, you will be."

My book, "Why We Make Bad Choices: The God's Labyrinth of Good and Evil Encountering the Self," includes self-development questions at the end of each chapter. These can help you challenge your ego and embrace your authentic self, where self-worth resides.

For example:

· Can you identify traits of your false self?

· How does your false self compromise your true self?

· Can you name situations where your false self plays out the most?

· Think about your subpersonalities. These may be a critic, perfectionist tyrant, the victim, the child, the abuser, the addict, the criminal, or the adulterer.

· How does your subpersonality act out?

The book delves deep into the human psyche, exploring how symbols, archetypes, and subpersonalities shape our self-perception and behaviour. It aims to inspire introspection, bringing our shadow selves to light so we can transcend the ego and live authentically.

During our conversation, we discussed the concept of a false self, where one's self-worth is mostly tied to external factors like your job, income, relationships, and social status. This mindset can be harmful, leading to negative impacts if you lose these factors. It's crucial to keep a keen awareness of where you attribute your worth, as everything is subject to change at any given moment and can harm your overall mental and emotional wellness.

To end the blog, If you're feeling intimidated by applying self-worth, begin by simply reflecting on it and keep returning to the concept and observing the results that follow. With determination and focus, you can achieve greater self-worth and live a more fulfilling life.
